The Plan:
- Play-Doh - our "back from break" tradition
- Monthly Mindfulness (Your copy is on Google Classroom)
- Reading Survey (You'll have to do this in one sitting because it is a Google Form, and it's due Tuesday night by midnight. I suggest you read the questions and then chat with friends and family before you fill it out)
- Recommend a Book (At least one submission due Tuesday night by midnight)
- If you're looking for your next book, here are some lists of the best books of 2017! Enjoy!
Using your Play-Doh, create something that represents one of the following:
- A goal you have for 2018
- A goal you have for the rest of the school year
- Something from last year or last semester that you are proud of
It's your choice. Be prepared to share out.
Monthly Mindfulness
I want us to think about our actions and our intentions a little more mindfully. Monday, for some, is the worst day of the week. The weekend is over and you have to wake up early to start a whole new week of school and work. For others, Monday is a fresh start. A day where you get to start new and accomplish whatever you like TODAY, THIS WEEK, OR ANY TIME. It’s all in how you look at it. Let’s start our week (and the upcoming month) by setting some positive intentions.
